Who is Gifted Pottery (Giftedpottery.com)?

Our Story:

Gifted Pottery® was born from our love of handmade pottery, travel and photography. We began collecting US hand made pottery over 20 years ago and our love affair with this genuinely American Art form continues. We have always loved travel, photography and collecting beautiful things, handcrafted pottery high on that list. We also noticed that there is a lack of high quality pottery and ceramics available online, and much of it was photographed poorly. Our aim was to use our skills to change this.  We opened our online store in 2011.

Strangely enough, our previous business was headquartered only 13 miles from Seagrove, North Carolina, a hand made pottery mecca for those who know of it. This proximity gave us many happy pottery shopping days, and really sparked our interest in collecting from these high quality potters. From that point forward, we decided to create a new business that combined our passions for travel and ceramic pottery collecting, Gifted Pottery.com.

Since then, we have been seeking out potters in every new place we visit and have found some truly unique and lovely pieces – handmade ceramics we just couldn’t find anywhere else. When we saw how much amazing hand made pottery was available from potters right here in the United States we decided to focus our efforts on USA handmade pottery and ceramics products only.

That’s how Gifted Pottery® was born. To make these stunning pieces of ceramic art available to everyone! We hope you enjoy shopping here as much as we enjoy seeking out new items for our site. In addition we are contributing a portion of our sales to the CERF+, the Craft Emergency Relief Fund a non-profit who makes emergency funds available to potters and artists in need. We hope that in some small way, we are continuing to keep this art form alive in America.

Thanks for shopping with us at Giftedpottery.com, Handmade pottery and jewelry, Paul and C.
