Emerson Creek Pottery was founded in 1977 with the goal of creating functional art. We believe the ceramics in your home should be beautiful, long-lasting, and practical. All of our products are made from nontoxic ingredients sourced from North American suppliers.

Our unique and varied collection is crafted in our studio, from the initial design concept to the final product. From mixing our time-tested stoneware clay to creating our own glazes and hand-painting each piece, we take pride in a hands-on approach to producing beautiful, everyday pottery.

Our studio is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, whose natural beauty continually inspires our artisans. Proudly American-made, our botanical-inspired designs and sustainable methods ensure a product that is both beautiful and functional.

All of our ceramics are lead and cadmium-safe, microwave, dishwasher, and oven-safe, and are designed for repeated use by anyone who values beauty, tradition, and functionality.
