Duck Creek Pottery

(Showing 7 of 7)
Sylvia Coppola has worked with clay close to 38 years, producing pots which continue to evolve over time. Each piece is created with form and function in mind as well as being decorative. Textured surfaces are created by carving lines, faceting, and using found objects to impress in the clay, adding interest. Many of the pots are formed on the wheel and then pulled out of the round shape to form ovals or squares, rectangles and triangles. Some pieces are handbuilt and textured with handmade stamps or textured surfaces. Clay is a fascinating medium with endless possibilities.
