As a child, I was fascinated by nature. I loved playing sports, hiking, and being outdoors. I’d climb trees and become mesmerized by the texture of bark and the graceful movement of the leaves. My adventures in art began when my neighbor talked me into taking a pottery class. I loved the red clay and the ability to manipulate the forms, add texture, and depict my love of nature. I was hooked! I want to engulf myself in my love for creating art in clay. Each piece has a story and represents me as an artist. I hope you can find a story of your own in my pottery.
