Exploring the possibilities of pottery has captivated me since the first class. I became a ceramics major at the University of Washington. Pottery has so potential. First, I throw and manipulate on the wheel than add hand-built elements so each piece is totally unique. Choosing the metamorphosis that occurs with a crystalline glaze adds its own unexpected and striking finish.
My greatest goal is that someone forms a connection with one of my pieces and wants to utilize it daily because it has character. Sarah
